The ship is fully air conditioned. Cabin temperatures are individually adjustable.
Animals
Animals are not permitted on board.
Bath towels / wool blankets
Bath towels and wool blankets are available on the sun deck.
Bars
The Lounge Bar is open from 11:00 am to 1:00 am daily. Soft drinks, coffee, tea and water are available free of charge daily in the lounge.
Bicycles
Bicycles and helmets are available on board free of charge. Please see the reception for more information.
Boutique
The Boutique’s hours of operation vary according to the ship’s schedule. Please see the daily program for the current hours. You can also visit the collection here. Orders may be placed directly.
Bridge
The bridge is generally open for guests. The Captain may temporarily close the bridge during certain maneuvers. Thank you for your understanding.
Cabin Furnishings
Your cabin is furnished with a TV with integrated video player, a direct-dial telephone, a radio and an electronic safe. In addition, each cabin has a selection of non-alcoholic drinks which are available free of charge during the trip. In the bath are various toiletries, as well as a robe and hairdryer.
Computer/Email
A laptop is available for general use in the library. The RIVER CLOUD can be reached at rivercloud@seacloud.com. An internet connection is not available. Messages up to 10 KB may be sent/received at no charge. Incoming or outgoing messages over 10 KB will be charged to your cabin account.
Change of route
Even when most carefully planned, our route may be subject to change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen events. You will be informed on board of any possible changes.
Daily program
General information to the day’s events and shore visits is prepared by the cruise director in the daily program, which you receive evenings in your cabin.
Dress
Our recommendation for day wear is smart-casual. Only for the captain’s dinners (welcome and farewell) do we recommend elegant dress for ladies and suit and tie for gentlemen.
Embarkation/
Disembarkation
Embarkation begins at 16:00. An earlier arrival is not possible, as the crew is preparing the ship for your arrival. Disembarkation is at 9:00.
Fitness area / Sauna
Our fitness area is open daily and offers modern fitness machines. There is no charge. The sauna is heated upon request. Please see the reception.
Foreign currency
Foreign currencies for shore visits are usually available in small quantities at the purser. In addition, we recommend that you obtain small bills of the national currencies before your trip.
Gratuities
Tips are not included in the price of the trip.
Of course, it is at your discretion to reward the crew’s good service with a tip. As a guideline, we suggest €12.00 per passenger per day.
Hair salon
The salon’s hours of operation vary according to the ship’s stopovers. Please see the daily program for times.
Hospital
The hospital is located on the Cabin Deck and is staffed by a ship’s doctor. Please refer to the daily program for hours of operation. The doctor can be reached at all times in case of emergency. Medications as well as seasickness pills are available in limited quantities. Special treatments are to be coordinated beforehand with the cruise company.
Laundry
There is limited service on board for laundry and ironing. There is no dry-cleaning. You will find a price list in your closet. For safety reasons, it is not permitted to use an iron in your cabin.
Library
Choose from German and English language books and games.
Lounge chairs
Lounge chairs for all passengers are available on the sun deck.
Lounge
The Lounge is located at the front of the Promenade Deck and is open 24 hours. Self-service coffee, tea and water are always available.
Mail
You may leave your mail at the reception, and it will be forwarded at the next port. Please write your cabin number in the stamp corner. The stamp will be charged to your cabin account.
Newspapers
Newspapers are in the library, according to local availability.
Payment methods
On board currency is the Euro (€). To simplify expenses we have set up a board account for the duration of your trip, to which your personal expenses will be charged. To settle, we accept the following payment methods:

Postcards
Ship postcards are available free of charge at the reception. You can also buy tourist postcards at the reception.
Putting Green
The putting green is on the sun deck. Golf clubs and balls are available at the reception.
Reception
The reception is located in the foyer of the Promenade Deck and is staffed from 7:00 to 24:00.
Restaurant
On RIVER CLOUD we offer your choice of tables. Please refer to the daily program for service hours. Meals are served at one sitting.
Safe
In the closet of your cabin is an electronic safe which can be programmed with a personal code.
Safety Equipment
The RIVER CLOUD was built according to the strictest safety standards. Rescue and safety exercises are not required for passengers on river ships. However, the crew holds regular safety exercises and the cruise director will briefly explain the safety regulations. All cabins and common areas are equipped with an emergency signal. In addition, there are life vests under your bed.

Smoking
In consideration of all passengers, smoking is not allowed in passenger cabins, corridors or the restaurant. There is a designated smoking area in the Lounge.

We gladly take into account special needs regarding diets. Please let us know your requirements well in advance of your trip.

Travel documents
Your travel documents contain information on your trip’s course and shore outings as well as the order form, your boarding ticket and airplane or train ticket, where applicable.
TV
Each cabin has a TV with 7 satellite channels and an integrated video player
(PAL system).
Umbrellas
Umbrellas are available in the foyer and in the cabins.
Voltage
The voltage on board in 220 volts. Each bath is equipped with an outlet for a razor. (American appliances require voltage converters, available from Reception on board.)
Visitors
Visitors are allowed on board only with prior registration by the passenger or event planner. The services used by the visitor while on board shall be settled through the cabin account of the passenger or event planner.
