This was a true expedition aboard a National Geographic vessel in every sense of the word. We have travelled with Karl and Julie several times over the past eight years throughout Greece, Turkey, Malta, Italy and Sicily. My takeaway is always “this was the trip of a lifetime.” They truly take care of each and every detail so that upon arrival one can relax, enjoy and take it all in. If an issue arises, First Century handles whatever it may be with a calm, professional and understanding attitude. The accommodations, dining, and excursions are luxurious in every way. It was the trip of a lifetime for us! Every aspect and detail of the trip was executed with excellence. Communication with Julie leading up to the trip was clear and timely. From start to finish we enjoyed every minute. The ship was superb with a crew who made every day a wonderful experience from taking care of our room to the food we ate to ensuring we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The guides were top- notch and prepared us for everything we would see for the day. The sites were spectacular as-well as the beautiful scenery . Would love to repeat it again!

First Century Voyage’s ‘Following the Footsteps of Paul’ in Turkey and Greece was an amazing journey of walking and sailing pathways of the apostle. The itinerary was well planned and provided excellent exposure to the sites visited from both an historical and a biblical perspective. The Sea Cloud II was a unique maritime experience giving an opportunity to sail aboard a square-rigger, swim in the Agean Sea, and enjoy delicious cuisine and hospitality.
