Steve & Jackie Green
Steve Green became President of Hobby Lobby in 2004 and has helped to grow the family business to over 900 stores in 46 states. They began operations in August of 1972 in Oklahoma City. Green co-founded Museum of the Bible with his wife Jackie. As Chairman of the Board, he was part of creating the 430,000-square-foot museum, dedicated to a scholarly and engaging presentation of the Bible's impact, history and narrative. It opened in November 2017 in Washington, DC, three blocks from the U.S. Capitol.
Jackie Green wears many different hats as she navigates writing, speaking and organizing events for women. She has served on the board of several organizations. She is also the founder of Women of Legacy, an effort to help women discover and leave an eternal legacy.
Steve has authored three books, Faith in America (2011) and The Bible in America (2013) and This Beautiful Book (2019). Jackie co-authored Only One Life (2018) with their daughter Lauren McAfee with a study guide entitled Legacy (2019). Together, Steve and Jackie authored, This Dangerous Book (2017).
Steve and Jackie have been married for more than 30 years and reside in Oklahoma City. Their family includes a son, five daughters, a daughter-in-law, three sons-in-law and nine grandchildren.
Michael & Lauren McAfee
Michael McAfee is the President and Co-Founder of Inspire. After seven years at Museum of the Bible, Michael co-founded Inspire in 2020 to help leaders inspire confidence in God’s Word. Michael’s most impressive life accomplishment is when he convinced his Sunday-school sweetheart, Lauren, to go on a date. Lauren Green McAfee is an author of several books, a keynote speaker, a leader of a national pro-life collective impact alliance, and was the first employee of Museum of the Bible. Today, Lauren works in Hobby Lobby’s ministry investments department. Michael and Lauren adopted their daughter, Zion, in 2019. They both earned bachelor degrees from the University of Oklahoma, master degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and are currently PhD students under Dr. Russell Moore studying Christian ethics with an emphasis in public policy.
Bill High, having lost his father at age 12, understands the need for strong families. In 2000, after a successful career as a lawyer, Bill started The Signatry: A Global Christian Foundation. As Executive Chairman & Founder, he empowers families and individuals in building legacies of generosity. Bill consults with families to plan for multi-generational legacy, and his business ventures include iDonate, an integrated online donation platform serving the nonprofit community. Bill and his wife Brooke have been married over 30 years. As the proud parents of four children and grandparents of three grandchildren, they love building their own family legacy.
Dale Brantner serves as Chief Catalyst Officer at The Signatry and is a founding board member of Inspire. With a strong background in near eastern archaeology and biblical studies, Dale has over 30 years of global leadership experience. Dale has served as the President of the Theological College of Zimbabwe, President and CEO of Cure International, and in the Office of the President at Museum of the Bible. Residing in Pennsylvania, Dale is married to his high school sweetheart Dianne. They have three adult children, Jordan, Shirah, and Taliah.
Special Guests for the Journey
Dr. Peter J. Williams is a Bible researcher and CEO of Tyndale House, Cambridge, the world’s foremost evangelical Bible research institute. He did his MA, MPhil, and PhD at the University of Cambridge in ancient languages and taught Old Testament at Cambridge and New Testament at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He is a member of the translation committee of the English Standard Version, chair of the International Greek New Testament Project, and Associate Editor of the Tyndale House Greek New Testament. His book Can We Trust the Gospels? has been translated into seven languages. He and his wife Kathryn have two children.
Matt Chandler serves as Lead Pastor at The Village Church in Flower Mound, TX, a replanting effort where he was involved in changing the theological and philosophical culture of the congregation. Matt is currently involved in church planting efforts and serves as president of Acts 29, a worldwide church-planting organization. Over the last 10 years, Acts 29 has emerged from a small band of brothers to over 600 churches in the United States and around the world. His greatest joy outside of Jesus is being married to Lauren and being a dad to their three children, Audrey, Reid, and Norah.

CANCELLATION & REFUND:
If written or emailed notice of cancellation is received from passenger 185 days or more prior to departure, all advance deposits will be refunded, less a per person administrative fee of $600. If cancellation is 184-155 days before departure, the cancellation charge, as liquidated damages, is 35% of the tour cost; 154-90 days before departure, 50%; 89-40 days before departure, 75%. The forfeiture for cancellations 39 or fewer days before our departure is the full cost of the tour less $600 per person. If the sailing is sold out and the cancelled space can be resold by FCV prior to departure, the sum received for resale, less $750 per person, will be refunded. In fairness to all, no exceptions can be made to these terms. There are no refunds for early withdrawal once the tour has commenced.
Insurance programs are recommended and available to insure: (a) baggage valued up to $1,000; (b) accidental injury, illness or death from any cause; and (c) trip cancellation. Upon confirmation of your reservation, you will be sent information regarding such policies. We strongly recommend this protection for all of our passengers. Consider "cancel for any reason" coverage offered by some trip insurance providers. Many options for trip insurance are available at this partner site.
RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY:
A detailed statement of limitations and exclusions of liability of Sea Cloud Cruises, FIRST CENTURY VOYAGES, and all trip hosts for loss of property, injury, illness, or death will be provided to all trip registrants and is available to prospective travelers upon request.
In the unlikely event that a dispute arises between the traveler and FCV, the traveler agrees that any dispute arising from or related to this agreement shall be settled by mediation and, if necessary, legally binding arbitration in accordance with the Rules of Procedure for Christian Conciliation of the Institute for Christian Conciliation (complete text is available at www.iccpeace.com or firstname.lastname@example.org). Judgment upon an arbitration decision may be entered in any court otherwise having jurisdiction. The parties understand that these methods shall be the sole remedy for any controversy or claim arising out of this agreement and expressly waive their right to jury and their right to file a lawsuit in any civil court against one another for such disputes, except to enforce an arbitration decision. Given the ever-changing health protocols surrounding Covid-19 concerns, the traveler agrees to abide by all health policies required by trip providers and domestic and international governments for safe participation in this trip.
CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATES:
Trip prices are based on exchange rates, fuel costs, and tax rates in effect as of February 2021, and are subject to change without notice to reflect fluctuations impacting FCV’s program component costs (currency and maritime fuel prices in particular). However, as a protective cap for FCV's passengers, in no case shall additional collections caused by such fluctuations exceed 3% of the advertised tour cost.
